Yoaz is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Amsterdam, working at the intersection of classic structured composition and contemporary visual culture. His practice draws from both historical and current references, resulting in work that is visually direct while conceptually layered.

His imagery is informed by classic art movements and contemporary media alike. Influences such as Cubism, geometric abstraction, and psychedelic art coexist with references drawn from pop culture, film, and music. This combination produces a visual language that shifts between order and distortion, precision and surrealism. As Yoaz describes his approach, it spans “from the precision of geometric design and Cubist patterns to the surrealism and vibrancy of psychedelic art.”

Yoaz’s work extends across both personal and commercial contexts. He has collaborated with international brands including Nike, Adidas, Adobe, and PlayStation, where he operates within established visual systems while introducing his own graphic perspective.
These collaborations function as a negotiation between individual authorship and brand identity, positioning creativity within defined constraints.

Parallel to his commercial practice, Yoaz works on his own personal projects, which sometimes allow for experimentation with form, color, and composition, and play a key role in the ongoing development of his visual identity. The outcomes of this process often inform his commissioned work, creating a continuous exchange between personal investigation and applied design.

Currently, Yoaz is focused on a series of geometric, psychedelic illustrations that further examine repetition, pattern, and visual perception. Future plans include translating this body of work into physical products.
